F1 2026

All depends on how the Stewards treat Max's enivitable rule breaking.
He will do his thing at the first corner of the first lap because he knows the stewards do nothing in this instance.

If you get in the lead from the start it often decides the race.

I don’t have any stats to support this.

Just scored free access to F1 TV thanks to the US Apple TV deal.

Still struggling to get excited about this season though. Hopefully once the racing starts I'll enjoy it.

Will he be in an around the front row. Looks like Merc engines and Ferrari will have something to say.

Im looking forward to Qualifying. See what these cars can really do.

Conscious that there may be all sorts of sandbagging going on, but on face value it looks like the Ferrari launches like a rocket ship, whereas Mercedes have the superior long-run pace. I predict a Mercedes front row with the Ferraris starting in the top six but getting ahead at Turn 1. Then let the game of cat & mouse commence! McLarens and Red Bulls there or thereabouts.
Anyone else planning to get up early and watch live?

I think it will be one of the most chaotic races in a long time. I'm expecting driver errors all over the place, cars suddenly losing power, retirements etc. Lots of talking points and excitement but not necessarily putting the management of F1 or Adrian Newey in a good light.

Let's hope it's worth getting up at daft o'clock for mate!

Sounded as though Russell's race simulation run was quite a bit quicker than Antonelli's.
Think thats experience which Kimi is picking up, think Kimi has more natural pace and these cars are easier to drive if not a hell of a lot closer I do think he’ll be ahead this season
im in glasgow for a gig so won't be able to watch, depending on how it goes will factor in whether i get up for China.
Think i’m going to mate, new era, new start n hopeful of seeing Lewis doing well this season

The cat and mouse of the battery pack is going to be crackers!

Got to say like after watching Free Practise, the loss of speed in superclipping on full throttle is horrible to see !

Bloody hate a sanitised, diluted F1

Can’t wait for China next week going to be hilarious 🤣 Vegas, Monza, going to be some great races this year like.
This is what they'll tune over time: When to deploy the battery power and how to best harvest energy back into it.

Although I do think they might have simply got the 55/45% thing wrong by a little bit, and also wasn't the MGU-H a energy recovery system that ran all the time harvesting heat, that they removed from the PU for these regs - which would have helped charge the batteries?

Let’s get rid of this stupid tech and strap a geet big V10 in the back.

Harvesting my arse.

Let’s go racing for gods sake.
I’m not staying up for qually but I hope Lewis does really well.

I’m expecting P7.
