F1 2026

Whatever peoples thoughts on Max, F1 cars should not be doing that, imagine that happening in Monaco or Canada, could be tragic consequences.
It's scary, I'm really trying to reserve opinion on these new regulations until I've seen a few races but so far 😬
Brundle expecting 10 to 12 retirements tomorrow.

F1 should be the pinnacle of motorsport, the fastest cars on the edge, it should carry a bit of danger for driver error
But
This is watered down F1, cars are slower, more tactical with these hybrid engines, it should be safer but power cuts, and Max's crash is a scary proposition.

Imagine if someone has the same issue on the start tomorrow, will be carnage

Ferraris are looking quick

Absolutely, it's ridiculous that these cars are 4 seconds a lap slower than last season around this track.

Hamilton .3 off on mediums is positive. I cant help but feel Russell is just cruising so far though. If he pushes he will end up a few tenths up, assuming he keeps his cool

Standard Merc from Lewis domination, turn the engine up for the last part of quality.

We can hope Ferrari are going to be there though.

Shame for Alonso that, think he's done a good job beating the Cadillacs

People are gonna be surprised just how far clear Merc is in Aus IMO. McLaren will be their challengers, Red Bull and Ferrari 3rd and 4th.

Merc refused to do proper long runs they are hiding that much performance, all teams sandbag a bit but it was ridiculous how obvious they were about it this year.

My prediction for Melbourne is a Merc 1/2 - 20s clear of 3rd.
Well Quali certainly seems to be going this way

Wow big pens coming
I like the gafer tape mercs really wrecked then this might be a huge penelty Maclean
