Following Saturdays farce of a match we have to question the process where one person (The referee) has the authority to call off a match but fails to do so. Therefore putting both sets of players in danger of serious injury. The surface has to be payable and clearly wasnt . By pure luck and nothing else, no one was stretchered off. These are Professional Footballers not Sunday league for fun . If this was a Premier League match no doubt it would have been called off. Portsmouth players took the same risk but the conditions suited them . Is the current system good enough or not and does the process for pitch assessment in the EFL need revising. ?
20,000 fans in the ground. 3nil at half time. Common sense to play it out. It wasn't bad in the centre of the pitch. We were just weak.

In all honesty, if we had won 4-0 would you be starting this thread?
