Following Saturdays farce of a match we have to question the process where one person (The referee) has the authority to call off a match but fails to do so. Therefore putting both sets of players in danger of serious injury. The surface has to be payable and clearly wasnt . By pure luck and nothing else, no one was stretchered off. These are Professional Footballers not Sunday league for fun . If this was a Premier League match no doubt it would have been called off. Portsmouth players took the same risk but the conditions suited them . Is the current system good enough or not and does the process for pitch assessment in the EFL need revising. ?

Would you have posted this if you were 4-0 up by any chance?

We lost the match because the ball needed to be off the ground. We clearly have a significant problem still in attacking the ball in the air and its being a problem for several years. I expect a lot of teams will be going long for the next month and playing for free kicks if we can't defend the six yard box.

What its got to do with mods is anyones guess.

Are you just going to keep creating a new thread asking the same question till you get the answer you are looking for?

Any stupid one way systems?
No, thankfully they got rid of that. At times I was in, in a building that I knew only had 2 other people in and coming back from the kitchen there was a really long way round. One part of the building there was not a way to have a one way system so they had people going outside and back in. Was ok in the summer but was not going to work once wet weather hit.

They did go a bit crazy. The kitchen is not that far away and I counted 34 different signs giving you orders on how to deal with the building and covid between the two. One 3m section of corridor with only one office leading off it, had 9 signs about distance, masks and direction.

Our other attacking strategy is that we are quick on the counter and have a few that can run with the ball. A lot of our goals have been brake away movements. A hell of a lot of our moves like that broke down when the player was tackled by the pitch. Dajaku especially lost the ball quite a few times when the ball suddenly stuck beneath him.
