The leadership are accountable for last season’s dross.
Maybe the leadership can learn from last season’s experience….

My trust for our leadership is sub zero and come January and were 10 points clear I will enjoy the show, but still believe this lot are wrong for the club and will lead us into the abyss someday.

I don’t believe in pixies sugary treats and unicorns but I do like jelly babies.
I also think mistakes get made and can be learned from. Obviously the proof is in the pudding and we still need signings. We’ll see at the end of the season whether the ownership gave done a good or bad job in 24/25.
I don’t feel anger hatred or resentment to any fellow fans. Nor do I think optimistic fans are cucks.
But I am a little ray of sunshine compared to you I think…..
 
Tbf nobody in their right mind would have dared to believe we'd start the season like this.

True im the sort of guy who only accepts apologies when i believe the apology is sincere and i despise the sunderland mgmt team, but not at all affected my faculties and enjoyed the season so far, just as much as you ! What you call optimistic fans, does exist a bitter element who project all the failure onto fellow fans... Come a sequence of poor results, the fault will all be dumped on people like me and in truth i just want excellence and success, but willing to be honest.

Well I’m sure we can both agree that fans have virtually no impact on whether the team ultimately succeeds. That’s down to recruitment and coaching.
I see signs of improvement on both fronts-albeit still work to be done.
If the season turns to shit I certainly won’t be ascribing any degree of blame to pessimistic fans.

Totally agree with you on improvements and also echo your last. My sense is the new manager has done something to that team and three games without conceding a goal, is a pretty amazing turnaround, at the same time as were looking dangerous going the other way.

The problem with internecine warfare is its even more negative and your average happy clapper seems to revel in scoring points and that's a problem with them and a serious root cause problem with the club, as well as terrible ownership and models.
