thats all well and good, and fortunately i'm a position where i'm only paying for my ticket and i'll be able to afford £40-50 a ticket if thats what the club decide, but can you not understand that some people simply don't have this type of disposable income, especially when paying for themselves and kids etc..

why should the club be offering discounts to anyone? the majority of ticket prices will likely be on the proviso of uefa anarl so the club will still want to make some sort of cut on top. £45-50 is very reasonable for some of the teams we could be up against

thats all well and good, but some people simply won't be able to afford it at those prices. doesn't mean they are wanting a hand-out or are poor supporters. a dad with 2 kids will be looking at approx £200 for a home game including travel and food etc...

thats a lot of money for a thursday night in winter time, if you don't have a lot of disposable income to start with. i can see some people having to make tough choices

this dismissal by some of our fans towards others as being tight, or twisting, is pathetic

You know some things for sale are “high end” or “luxury” and thus come at a premium. They cost more.
European football is a sort of luxury, certainly for us.
The pricing has been set by clubs that have gone before us, eg Forest. What do you expect the club to do?
Do you go into a Mercedes car dealerships and complain that some people can’t afford their cars?

And luxury items arent afforded by all. This isnt about what you think it is, its purely stating that we wont get a 47k crowds at all 4 games by charging top dollar when theres a proportion of people who think we'll sell out no bother at premium prices.

Apart from no ones even suggested that, its the complete opposite in having a package to ensure you actually get a decent crowd should we not do very well

There won't be 40,000 wanting a ticket if its 50 quid a seat. And if the club go for that kind of pricing we could get some really low crowds in the knock out/play off stages.

I just like taking every opportunity to have a pop at early leavers 🤣

If the club offer a package of the four matches at discounted prices, if, then it’s a win win. The club gets the money in early and supporters get more accessible prices.

I’d like to think the days of planning for “not doing very well” are long gone, but as you demonstrate, it’s an attitude still prevalent.

I get it, but the club can't let that fact have them make bad business decisions. There are many people who can't afford to go to any games at all, many fans who can't afford to buy the kids kits from the club shop, ect. I don't always agree with the way modern football has gone, but the reality is we, like any club, need to maximise turnover. Especially in an SCR world and the reduction in spend from playing in Europe.

That's all fair enough but if the club over price it and it doesn't sell out then don't blame the people not buying tickets , blame the club for a poor businesses decision

Let's wait and see.. hopefully they do a deal where ST holders can book thier own seat for price of what they pay per league game

Those revised prices are for the last 16 game against midtjylland, forest also played them at home in the league phase. Im not sure the league phase prices ever got reduced ?
 
I would imagine the club will sell all 4 Europa League home games to ST holders as a block sale before the fixtures are released and while everyone is still buzzing? Unless the pricing is absolutely nuts that basically guarantees those games sell out, regardless of the draw.
