Essex v Durham County Championship 8-11 Sept

Forecast looks grim at Sussex so looks like Hampshire will get away with a draw.

Yorkshire also likely to get a draw unless Somerset bowl them out twice today.

This is against a bowling attack who are two seamers down with Snater injured and Bracewell being off the pitch since his first spell.

So Bedingham went from playing defensively to trying to hit 6's. Has he forgotten he could maybe try fours?

Ashley Thorpe manages it perfectly well and the other lad that does it with him
Emmerson is painful, only ever his motorway journeys, holidays he’s been on amongst various other waffle

Maybe you have a personal issue with Marty, because you can’t possibly listen to the crap they talk on the club stream and think it is any different at all to what Marty does. That bloke who doubles up as a Somerset correspondent for example, spends more time talking about other counties and other teams’ players than he does the task at hand.
absolutely shite seriously shite and even more shite

There’s just no fight whatsoever in this team anymore. Surrendering so meakly to a team that are an opening bowler down.

Utterly devoid of any fight and motivation.
Yet posters question when we suggest that all is not well between players and management.Any team would become disenchanted when clear issues with the bowling attack aren't addressed and a batting line up of mercenaries rather than home grown products.

Few people questioned that, I certainly didn't. Club is clearly in a mess.
