Enzo Le Fee

What a wild thread. Le Fée is clearly our best and most talented player, you can see it the second he gets the ball. He's wasted on the wing I agree, but even from there he created our only chance and looked the most likely to do something yesterday, maybe alongside Rigg.
Not sure too many are debating his quality, it’s just been a disappointing outcome after all the excitement of him signing.

He also should have had at least 3 more assists but for awful finishing (Isidor at Burnley, Cirkin at Derby, Neil vs Plymouth).

Unfortunately most people will just look at the goal and assist stats and deem him to be a waste of space because he hasn't scored a hat trick every game.
Nah it’s not that mate
Think we all agree the signing looked like intent with a huge upgrade into the team

Sadly due to his injury the returns haven’t been great as yet

Still time though

Aye because the opposition teams have worked out he's our main attacking threat, so there's usually two players marking him and another one or two sweeping up behind them as a safety net for when he gets past the first two.

Gibberish.
That's just utter nonsense btw. Mundle and Clarke have managed to score goals and are much bigger threat than him. You're making excuses for him

Roberts is simply not one of our best players and he hasn’t been for a long time.

People who don’t think he is are certainly “not beyond hope” as the other poster claimed. He’s lucky to be in the team week in week out as he has zero competition.

I know we were poor yesterday but , you honestly couldn’t see that he was head and shoulders onna different a level to the o the other 20 odd players ?

Roberts was not head on shoulders and on a different level to the other 20 odd players at all.

The team has had a disappointing outcome but I think he's nearly always looked a class above.

I’m still pinning a lot of my remaining hopes on Le Fee getting back to full speed. I think cirkin behind him will help out a lot.

Then if Mundle is fit, he might move into a central position which we’ve yet to really see him in (with 11 men).

I agree, although I think on the left we'll probably get great moments from him, I think in midfield he could probably be the driving force of the team.

I just want to see us play with more urgency as well though, if we limply go out of the playoffs slowly knocking the ball about I'll be sick.

He’s shown quality on the left and we haven’t really seen him in the middle yet, so cannot comment other than I know it’s his natural position.

The middle of the park is a big issue at the moment so I wouldn’t be against him going in there - maybe a kick up the arse for the 3 in there at present.

From what weve seen so far he's not a Jack Clarke or Amad type who could win us points on their own. He's more of a creator rather than a match winner which is obviously an issue because the players he is creating for are either woefully out of form, shite or injured.
