Enzo Le Fee

I thought he was very poor today, but the ability is clear to see. His touch, vision and passing are a level above this league.

Agreed. He shows glimpses of quality but so does Patrick Roberts. Probably doesn’t help that some of the players aren’t on his wave length mind.

f***ing bizarre bringing Roberts into this bearing in mind he's one of our best players who shows quality and commitment every game he plays.
So is my nan.

Just quit watching football, man. You clearly know nowt about it.
When does Roberts show glimpses of quality? The blokes a passenger

And you. Anyone who can't see that Roberts is one of our best players is beyond hope.

He's one of our main attackers and has 1 (ONE) goal from open play in nigh on 2 seasons. He could be one of our best players but he has a massive flaw in his game that stops that.

Bar the game against Boro where he played against a over the hill Luke Ayling whose terribe hes been underwhelming for me. No doubt a decent player but the way some went on you would think we were signing a prime Hazard at the time.

Hes been pretty average a can see why a mid table Italian team binned him off and bar us was no other takers
Last time I checked Hazard wasn’t a central player playing out of position on the wing so not really a good comparison.

The hype around him was ridiculous when he signed mind. A player who’d had a couple of decent seasons for mid table French sides gets a random move to Roma who barely play him and then loan him out to us. Doesn’t exactly scream way too good for this league, and on his performances so far he clearly isn’t either.

14 games 1 goal1 assist according to wiki?!
I know a fair few have been “cameos “but has he really played that many for us ?
Certainly doesn’t seem that many

We were equally as bad yesterday as we were against Coventry, it wasn’t just one or two having a bad game but pretty much all of them! Hopefully it’s a bit of a wake up call and better to get it out of our system now than in the playoffs. Let’s not take anything away from Oxford, they got at us and got their valuable points. Got to get on point for next week onwards, no fkn about 👌

:):):)

Are you his fatha?

Roberts is a nice bloke but his output is next to nothing.

Cut in from the right, run into traffic, rinse and repeat.

My toddler can strike a ball better than him.

Like hitting a rain soaked medicine ball with bare feet.

Worrying that if we go up he will be the most we spend on a player and that's even just to keep the squad as it is.

Got no hope

Make no mistake if we do manage to go up, and let's face it the 2 teams who'll we'll have to beat in the Play offs are just as bad as we are so there's every chance, it's going to be extremely messy. This team aren't anywhere near as good as the Southampton team that went up last season.

You've just summed up why we are struggling with that statement. He's one of the players who flatters to deceive. No end product yet still gets a first team place. He's past his best.

Aye because the opposition teams have worked out he's our main attacking threat, so there's usually two players marking him and another one or two sweeping up behind them as a safety net for when he gets past the first two.

Gibberish.

League one is his level!

What a wild thread. Le Fée is clearly our best and most talented player, you can see it the second he gets the ball. He's wasted on the wing I agree, but even from there he created our only chance and looked the most likely to do something yesterday, maybe alongside Rigg.

One could say the same about Paddy Roberts, he beats 3 men and then has no forward movement to pass it to
This. It’s no coincidence that when we are more attacking as a unit then Roberts looks a really dangerous player (Large parts under Mowbray, earlier in RLB).

When we become more defensive minded and cautious then his performances suffer for it. I’ve seen him beat 2 or 3 players on a fairly regular basis through these spells and then he’s expected to beat another 2 as there’s no one making a decent run for him.

The one part where he can have some criticism thrown at him is his finishing and dead balls. Those should be better, but in terms of actually been positive and getting us up the pitch we’re a much better team with him in it.

And back to Le Fee. Talented lad. Would be good to see him in his natural position in a team with more of an attacking intent

Let’s just hope RLB throws off the shackles and we go for it in the next 3 games which hopefully leads us to Wembley. We’ve got the players to really hurt the opposition. This safety first approach is not working.

We were told the Coventry result and performance should have been a wake up call, but in reality nothing changed...
