ENZO LE FEE 🇫🇷 compendium thread

Whoever comes in will have to take that shirt off him. There can’t be any gimmes in this team any more.
True but I dont think it will be that shirt or position.I have banged about it for ages our goals for column is in for a massive improvement .The midfielder or 10 has to score and be a threat of goals.I might be wrong but I think the only place Enzo will hold down is LW .Good thing about Jan window is its short so we will soon see.

And who’s that going to be? Diarra? His best season was 4. Le fee is already on two at the half way point. Or are you expecting fresh faces?

For me he looks like he’s run himself into the ground. Needs a break, I think. A couple of times over the last couple of games he has just looked spent.

Nothing negative about his class or desire, just looks like he’s been worked a bit much.

I thought he was pretty poor (or more generously, anonymous) until he got some help in the middle. Still believe he can do the job in the centre, but he needs to be fresh - or at least fresher than he was today. Once the shape was changed and the amount of defensive graft he needed to do was lessened, he was able to shine. I’d have hooked him before then tbh. Glad Reg stuck it out!
Reg know best always man’s a genius

The thing that has impressed me most this season is his effort & work rate.
He always had that sparkle of quality too.
Almost a box to box midfielder right now.
Being dropped from the first team at the start of the season has inspired him to raise his game overall I reckon.

Suspect he'll go back out wide if/when Diarra is up to speed. None of the left wingers are really doing anything to get themselves in the team on a regular basis and Diarra just adds another element that no one else in our squad can with how dynamic he is. Le Fee's better and more reliable than all our left wingers and grafts his knackers off so think it'll be a simple call for Le Bris really.

As much as I think Le Fee is one of our best players and needs to start whether it's central or out wide that pass today was the quality he needs to show more often. Think it's more to do with the system and setup than anything else but for a player of his ability we really could do with more actual end product from him. People quoting his goals and assists record but it doesn't really show owt. Penalties and five yard balls to players outside the box not really in a notable position aren't owt to shout about, the pens have got to be put away of course but it's just the basics you expect. That ball today to Brobbey and that ball to Mayenda against City in the second half is what he's capable of and what we need from him more often.

Xhaka's assists this season have all been genuine creativity, we could really do with that sort of quality from Le Fee as well.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Diarra. We will see, but I think he's a brilliant player. Hopefully he comes back from AFCON fully fit and he will impact the team like a new signing.

He's one of the best footballers in our squad in a squad now filled with very good footballers. How the hell we managed to sign him in the championship is just incredible.
Needs to go back to the short hair IMO, but if that's the only thing I don't like, then he's deein something right

Was brilliant last night think those games suit him

Probs my fav player right now

Think the question comes later down the line as Theres absolutely no goals from midfield
Yeah but it’s not impossible to see Le Fee eventually chip in with maybe 6-7 goals a season form midfield as the team develops and we start to take the hand break off a bit. He’s definitely got goals in his locker and can get in the right positions.

Yeah I agree, I was thinking after the game how much more he is getting in the box from central position, he has had a couple of headers arriving late...and is also starting to pass the ball through the strikers more

He has really stepped up during Afcon...what a player man....work ethic and the technique

This will probably happen, but I am reluctant to see it as I think Le Fee has been brilliant centrally, and I think we have actually played better with him there, and created more.

I know Diarra has legs but think we may miss something if we move Le Fee

Not the worst thing in the world, as having them all in the side would give us a big level of control in games I reckon.
