Agree….it’s like he’s our unsung hero at the minute because we are being wowed by the new(er) signings, while he just quietly grows into one of the most important players on the pitch.

His movement, touch and vision are absolutely sublime.

He really deserved an assist for that pass to Mayenda. Worked his bollocks off all game and almost played the brilliant pass to win us the 3 points. Another day Mayenda gets that out of his feet slightly quicker and gets a more powerful shot off and into the bottom corner. Fine margins...

It’s up to Diarra to take the shirt off him now. He hasn’t played for us much but in the games he has played he hasn’t played to the level Le Fee is currently playing centrally so he’s going to have to come back all guns blazing to take the shirt!

Not sure about that. I think Diarra is the exact type of player we are missing at the minute. He bursts through the midfield and gets in and around the striker.

He will bring out the best in Brobbey as well in my opinion. I get it's about opinions though and it would seem harsh to a lot of people to move Le Fee to bring Diarra back in.

While I respect your opinion and believe there is more to come from Diarra. I do think he will have to bring has A game to take the shirt and personally can’t see him walking back in. Good problem to have though isn’t it!

It’s taken a while for us to get here but it was obvious even last season imo. I know the club have prioritised physical output in the engine room this season but I’m glad that they’ve adjusted here. ELF never looked comfortable too far forward and leading the press in my view. Put him deeper and he really shines. He’s not a defensive liability at all - and we look a better team as a consequence.

He’s the level we need to be at. The likes of Mundle, Adringa, Isidor are not the players you want being around him. It’s evolution, and he could make them look good (In Isidor’s case) in the Championship but not in the PL.

I thought he was pretty poor (or more generously, anonymous) until he got some help in the middle. Still believe he can do the job in the centre, but he needs to be fresh - or at least fresher than he was today. Once the shape was changed and the amount of defensive graft he needed to do was lessened, he was able to shine. I’d have hooked him before then tbh. Glad Reg stuck it out!

Agree with all of this,but i still think he wont be in the centre when everyone is back and new signings are made imho .
