Yeah, even then, the Irish sound/association is largely down to two of their albums (abeit two of their three most high profile albums). The rest are unquestionably Celtic but not particularly Irish.

I think that takes us back to The Waterboys again. Scott from Scotland and Wallinger from Wales, Anthony Thistlethwaite from England and Steve Wickham from Ireland. I'm pretty sure they were, at some point, all in the line up.
