Isn't that more because India has decent seamers these days?

That's right. India have got a pretty adaptable squad for most conditions now - I think if we’d had more of our first choice attack available we would have shaded it on these pitches though. Overton has looked seriously found out at the Oval. He’s nowhere near the Aussie tour. And less said about our top and middle order the better.
