Fun fact: both Bairstow and Buttler now both average just a smidge above Tim Paine. No one would argue that Paine is a specialist bat (recognising batting in England is generally tougher and all that)

It’s more they’ve offered nowt all series. I’m fine to criticise the rest too, but at least Pope, Hameed, Malan and Burns have made a score this summer (in far fewer chances in most cases)
