England vs India (fourth test) The Oval

Jimmy will probably shut me up and get a fifer.

But perhaps hes not superhuman and 4 tests in a row maybe a bridge too far.

Not that he won't get wickets but not gonna be at his best

Edit: well played Jimmy get me egg on my face @Keith S30S
I thought he should have been rested as well, guess he may miss the final test at his home ground. Surely can’t play 5 in a row

He had Saturday lunchtime to Weds off which is ample time imo, following a test where his speeds were great.

You wouldn’t rest Ronaldo for a cup final and you’ve got to apply that principle to an India test for me with the series in the balance.

A lunch watchmen is an interesting approach.

Even if Jadeja has multiple triple tons.

Perhaps viewing pant better to bat with the tail and Jadeja more capable scoring in England.

Rahane bottling it is the only odd bit.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rahane score runs vs England
I think he got 2 tons in 2014 was the only batsman of there's to get any runs.

I was reading his average was over 50 and then since 2016 averages low 30s.

Hence won't have done anything else against England

Said it last match, but think Robinson is better than Broad.

Quite similar bowlers, so that's why I single out Broad, rather than other options.

Been a while since we had a seamer who came in and looked so immediately natural in Test cricket.
