He's probably slightly better than McLaren, but I don't think there's much in it except he's more likely to come in and hit quick runs when it's needed.

You do realise that if SA were out for 100 or less then we would've faced a lot more overs when Aidan11 made his post.

SA reached 100 after 25.4 overs and were eventually out after 38.4. We would have faced 15-20 overs before the innings break.

In his current form he is totally beyond criticism. Should he get into a run of being dismissed for less than 40, his strike rate, which will probably be around 55, will be questioned.
