Curran is only 17 on debut

Pakistan opted to bat first but these conditions, hot and sultry are being used perfectly for swing by broad and Anderson

Batsmen were a disgrace, no doubt, I agree on that and they need to really knuckle down. Essentially though, we were still outbowled in our own conditions by Pakistan and by players playing in England for the first time.

Broad has bowled beautifully this morning, another one full, with swing and Ali couldn't live with it.

Yeah it can happen now and again

But Anderson n broad have outstanding records and are still the best bowlers in the country

Doesn’t mean you just drop them
 
I think Headingley should always have Test cricket, for me they'd get a Test every year - but I do find it odd that it gets a Test whilst massive building work is ongoing.

You do if they aren't producing though, nobody is 'undroppable'. The best sides in history are ruthless, when someone isn't performing they get replaced.

In this instance he's clearly listened to the critics and coaches and has acted accordingly - because I'll say it again, he's bowled beautifully this morning.

If stokes was fit woakes for wood wouldn't of happened broad is still our second best bowler

Yeah but it’s 1 game

He bowled well in NZ

When you’re this good you have to have a long period of failure to get dropped

Jimmy not been great today mind apart from the odd jaffer
 
Be interesting when Curran and woakes come on, as there is definite swing available
 
Two balls two fours off woakes

Second ball swung though, first ball was pathetic
