England v India (Third Test) Headingley

The fact people are discussing a possible India win on the same day we had a 350 lead going in to the second innings then had them at 34/1 shows that a) England are capable of pulling off the most impossible of defeats or b) test cricket is just sublime
Indeed. England have bossed days 1 and 2, India day 3, who bosses tomorrow will decide the match..

If Kohli and Pujara see off the new ball it's squeaky arse time...

If Pujara and Kohli do what Yousuf and Khan (numbers 3 and 4) did for Pakistan at Headingly on a sunny Saturday in August 2006 we will be in big bother! The last of that test the pitch got spicy and they were skittled too.

Early wickets absolutely vital. Get them and they will fold like a pack of cards.

Can’t believe how smug everyone was yesterday when we were hoying away wickets on a flat pitch! Yes it’s still improbable but Christ do not doubt this India sides ability to drop anchor.

Sensational isn’t it, purest format of any sport

Ticket for tomorrow sorted but hoping I don’t get much more than a morning’s cricket. If it’s longer it means we may be in trouble
