England v India - Third Test, 10/07

So it’s all down to the style not the fact they better bowlers and different style would have been bowled out as well?
Read my post. Bazball approach doesn't work against a quality bowling attack. Of course they're better bowlers and I thought and hoped that England were trying to adapt in the 1st innings.
Apart from Bumrah stats indicate that the rest of attack aren't world beaters.

The openers weren't bowled, but they both threw their wickets away.
As said Crawley and Pope aren't good enough imo, regardless of what "style" of cricket we are playing.
It's not like we've tried to go at 6 an over this innings.

Duckett played the same way he plays every innings, which has led to him being called the best all format opener in the world. He has an excellent average. Even Cook got out for shit scores.

Crawley isn’t good enough, nowhere near.

Fair play to the India attack who kept it very tight. A couple of truly shan wickets to give away amongst that lot though. They'll fancy the chase, I hope we actually make a fist of it and bowl properly. I have an awkward feeling they'll find the boundaries easier to come by than we did.

I never said he wasn't good enough, just he gifted his wicket, as he often does.

62.1 overs

That was in old money an innings in domestic short form game

Yes the pitch is up and down but really they couldn’t see a day out ?

We are not talking peak windies pace at one end and warne/murali at the other

Today needed graft and batting fir time and sod the rate

They have completely failed but we all know , no batsman will be left out unless injured
