England v India - Third Test, 10/07

England could well win this.

India are a very good team

England don’t half piss me off with their arrogance

None of these statements are contradictory
That’s fair mate, more than fair, not this nonsense that India are not a good team.

Posters on this thread trying to make a argument India not a good team which is nonsense tbh.

Balanced view is to be critical of England but still accept that

Have you heard of the phenomenon of ‘underperforming’?

It’s the same phenomenon that means that great football teams still often lose matches to relegation threatened sides.
And would you describe England as great?

As I wouldn’t

That comparison not relevant at all with these two sides as India clearly better

They really give off the impression that they don't. I'm sure it's not completely accurate, but the media comments, laughing on the balcony and utterly average cricketers in shit form bring undroppable makes you question it. I think there's an arrogance to it all tbh.

You think they go through all the training required to play test cricket for something they don’t care about?

I know it's 10 and 11, bless them , but that partnership was painful.

And weren't we told pre 2019 that Archer was a decent bat?
