I think it’s fair to say this regime got it right selecting Archer for this test.

While the rest of their team seemed to want to go down the route of battling it out.

Pant was the one batsman who could have counter attacked and took the game away from us quickly his wicket massive

In hindsight yes, but many felt he wasn't ready having had only a few overs in a county game since his long injury.
