I agree in shorter forms of the game, but is his 4/5 day format good enough? Im not really sure if it is or not

Reasonable view and he couldn't have had any complaints. I guess they took the view that to get his chance he had been the top scorer in county cricket over the previous 5 years and had just completed his best ever season and no-one has really hammered the door down to take his place. Jennings has just had a couple of good knocks but since they dropped him for lack of form and technical issues he had a rotten time up until the last week. Cook and Stoneman are both on borrowed time though and need immediate success this summer.
