If there's any truth to that, and I'd be surprised, somebody will have to show Broad how to bat. I assume he didn't bowl because he tends to get smacked about a bit and the wicket wasn't conducive to quicks

I cant get me head round it. Bops has played 100 f***ing times with 1 century. Bresnan is a fat plodder who is mediocre with bat and ball.

If the job is Giles' to lose then performances like this must be putting the nail in his coffin. One day side have been shocking under him. No urgency whatsoever, should have killed the game off when bowling should have won with 5 overs to spare batting. Any other side at 100-1 would keep the pace up, England say we need 5 per over for 30 overs so we'll score at 4.5 per over until the last 5. Ridiculous, outdated approach.
