Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June

Outstanding win. I was questioning Stokes decision to bowl first but can't knock it. Superb advert for test cricket. We played much like the Aussies usually do against us. Against the ropes a lot of the game but come out on top
Not a dig at you it’s fair enough debating these things it’s what the forum is for. However the next time we do put a team in on a flat pitch those who were spontaneously combusting over the decision might take a bit of time to reflect.

Michael Vaughan should as well the wise after the event gobshite

Equally those same people could take time to reflect when the next England wicket falls from an attacking shot ;)

Mind tbh I definitely joined the toss bad decision gang this time.

So hands up from me

Great win, well batted in the second innings from everyone bar Pope and Brook.

Still think bowling first was the wrong option and India have thrown away at least a draw with their dropped catches, no balls and batting collapses. But fair play to England made them pay for their mistakes.
Pope and Brook did it in the 1st innings when we needed so all of our top order contributed. Happy with that!
