The football type cricket fan posting all over bbc saying he's a disgrace, arrogant, needs dropping etc. It was a poor approach given the situation but no one moans when he finds a boundary first ball so....That's the beauty of cricket. The best players can be done first ball.

Agree, just frustration for a lot of people, including me.That's the beauty of cricket. The best players can be done first ball.
It's a shame I won't get to watch many of these days with me working!Agree, just frustration for a lot of people, including me.
A lot rests on this partnership now. Smith is an unknown in these types of pressure situations 4th innings. Wouldn't want more than 50 before he or the lower order are in.
Think it's partly because of what I alluded to earlier, I don't carry the partisan approach typically found in football. Yes I want England to win but I can enjoy Test Matches that we lose. And India coming back into it again has made it more exciting.tbf to the reactors on here, they are human and are disappointed. Ha'way man! Don't get me wrong, I love the drama. But I would've preferred an easy 7-8 wicket win every day of the week.Think it's partly because of what I alluded to earlier, I don't carry the partisan approach typically found in football. That's the result doesn't really matter, cricket is the winner.I live/work in Scotland and I’ve been trying to explain for a while how good cricket is to my Scottish colleagues
Managed to convert a few to T20 only.
Anyway I got a message today saying this has been so exciting!
Just had the argument with my Scottish manager earlier about it and he just wouldn't budge on it being boring.I live/work in Scotland and I’ve been trying to explain for a while how good cricket is to my Scottish colleagues
