This is doable

Just need to steady on and not get out unnecessarily, plenty time to make the runs now. Not sure we will do it but it's a traget within the reach of top playing.

This is some cracking counter attacking from these two, but I just can't see it. One mistake, one wicket and out comes Anderson.

thats it in a nutshell

if we had opening batsmen that scored even 50% of what opening batsmen score...and/or taken 50% of the stupidly missed catches...we would still be #1

or it if their "superiors" had 50% of the bollocks of prior and swann

Come on this England. No doing things the easy way.

7.4 runs an over in the last 7. We've brought the required run rate down now. These two need to make sure they do nowt daft and just pick off the bad balls.

Edit: Just like Swanny slashing at Morkells first ball.

its great last ditch defiance...but we cant possibly do this...the next mistake ends the game

If these two are still in at the new ball they don't need to keep playing like this. 65 off 25 overs is the current target and the new ball with fly to the fence faster if they just play proper cricket shots and do nowt daft.
