Embarrassing fans

That team was nowhere near capable of salvaging anything in that second half, not one shot on target and spent the vast majority of the half being pushed back. That and the substitutes by the manager and the freezing cold ensured the ground was almost empty at full time.
I know what you’re saying, but we could get a goal from a corner or whatever.
Well that’s fair enough I suppose if three quarters of the fans have left by the end.

I presume the OP is still in the ground and can't get a signal to tell us what part of the ground they were in at the final whistle.

Writing up a list of things wrong with that second half, fans leaving before the end would be way down a long list.

In short a berk.

totally agree with this. I never went as I am old and the cold would really go down to my bones. That is very sore.
According to car thermometer it was minus 5 and a half at 8.30pm last night.
That is cold by anybody's standards
You done the right thing mate. I'm still recovering now  🤮🤮

Truly embarrassing. But not a surprise.
First thing to consider is Social Media, Theire are literally kids on this website. I've been here since 1995 ffs and NOTHING has been done about that.

Do ytou see kids in the pub? I don't. Well, I do iver in China haha Because they are feral and so are there parents. But they don't know any better. Plus it's them.

This forum, has done FUCK ALL to stop kids spouting shite on here, I spout shite, but i'm an adult, i'm aloud, therapist telt me so.

The scene at the final whistle was sad, only needed a goal and was just about empty. Can’t think where this would happen anywhere else.
Did you watch Boro v Luton? Half empty at the start and even emptier at the end I stayed till the end but couldn't envisage Sunderland scoring though I could see WBA getting another. Yes, the ground was empty but I'm not convinced our supporters are worse than others. The three subs on 89 minutes almost finished me.
Have some of this ya Bisto slurper
I'd give you two likes if I could though I don't know if he is gravy.

was f***ing Baltic, leave whenever you want.

Singing that song to Amad after he’s came out and asked for it not to be sang is more than embarrassing though.

Tin hat on but it isn’t really that cold. Depends on wind and relative humidity but when I turned up on site this morning it was -9C, dry and wind still.
(Gets ready for stand abuse)
If it cold put the correct clothing on…

I don’t think he is but he can have that accolade for the today for slagging those that went last night.

It's nonsense to suggest that the game was "definitely over" after they went 2-1 up with 15 mins left - that's just an excuse people are using to make themselves feel better by giving up and leaving early.

I'm sure we can all think of many occasions (both involving SAFC and not) where a team has been playing shite and looked dead and buried but still managed to nick an equaliser out of nowhere.

I think a lot of people left because it was -5, it's as simple as that.

For those watching on TV, could you hear the West Brom supporters singing
“Cheerio, Cheerio, Cheerio” with 15 mins to go???

Don’t blame them. I stopped like (always do, that’s my choice)

I was hoping to be there after we finally scored from our 1,000 corner since the last time we achieved it.
