Embarrassing fans

Baffles me how some can give up and leave with 20 mins to go because its "Baltic", yet slate the players for doing the same

Almost as if it’s the job of the players to play football for 90 minutes, and the fans pay to enter and can leave when they want without it making a blind bit of difference

I’d like to see the stats from Sky to see how many switched the football off and watched something else from the comfort of a heated room.

Be far more than those who left early.

I never slag our fans and defend them to the hilt, but early leavers do my boil my piss especially when the game is still in the balance.
I’ll never understand it.

Well that's untrue isnt it

I stayed to the very end and it made absolutely zero difference
You don't know that. They might have got a third without you staying. There's lots of research done - including during the covid season - where home advantage helps teams and having crowds in the stadium helps as well

Well we certainly didnt get a 2nd with me staying

Well done to those who went no matter how long they lasted. My season tickets went to waste last night, it was Fuking freezing and the performance second half would have made it feel like -20 when the second goal went in. Was one of those games the tide had swung too far in West Broms favour aswell it never seemed like the kind of game we might get an equalizer. Don’t blame anyone for heading off just congratulate them for showing up in the first place!

So as I said. Staying until the end makes zero difference
That's not true. You're allowing the fact that you stayed and we didn't score to cloud your judgement. You have no idea what the impact of it was, it might have prevented a third. There is research that shows teams perform better at home with crowds in their favour. Just because we didn't score a second yesterday doesn't make that untrue

Just accept it

Staying until the end makes full all difference

Me sat freezing my tits off at the back of the North Stand has zero impact what happens on the pitch
