A day. Hence a 20 mile top up not being enough. For the week??
Which is a snapshot. Annual figures give a more accurate picture of the generation mix.

The Tesla model 3 can drive for 6 hours at an average speed of 55mph on a single charge and can be charged outside your house if off street parking.
If you're on a motorway doing a 70moh the supercharger network would allow you to top up in five or ten minutes to complete your six hour journey and if you were driving for six hours non stop on a motorway you should really of had a rest or comfort break of at least ten minutes anyway.
The vast majority of my driving would suite electric but going to me mothers at 425 miles each way would require too much farting around when my goal is to get there as soon as possibleThe Tesla model 3 can drive for 6 hours at an average speed of 55mph on a single charge and can be charged outside your house if off street parking.

It was £620 a month on my lease plan. And how much do they cost?

However, the Kia E Niro 64kW has a similar range and is only £350
Is this super charge thing on Tesla like how Apple have their own charger leads ?Prohibitely expensive for your average person. The cheapest is about £50k
The kia is still a £30k car, and won't have access to the tesla supercharge network.
Until price, charge speeds, and access to chargers are addressed, then you won't get a mass take up of EV's
They’re opening them up to all cars. Just started the trial in Holland. But you can get other non branded fast superchargers for other evs anyway. It’s not just a Tesla thing. Is this super charge thing on Tesla like how Apple have their own charger leads ?
surely it should be one point fits all??

I don't understand why they're so expensive as I believed what you're essentially paying for is the depreciation cost over the x amount of years you're leasing it and I wouldn't expect Teslas to depreciate that much.
The battery isn’t that expensive if it’s the same as the ones they put in houses.I'm guessing it's the battery, as over time they'll hold less charge.
Combined with the expectation that prices will drop in next few years when take up increases
Tesla are developing the model 1 which will cost an estimated £18k and be available to buy in a couple of yearsProhibitely expensive for your average person. The cheapest is about £50k

The way battery tech is progressing I’d expect that to do over 200mile range on release. This one?
New Tesla Compact EV coming next year: Carwow renders new budget electric car
Elon Musk has confirmed that the new Tesla Compact EV will go on sale in late 2025, and Carwow has had a go at predicting this new MG 4 alternative's design.www.carwow.co.uk
Only 180 mile range, which means in reality will only do 150. So it's still expensive considering the poor range.
It’s got nothing to do with the charger connection, Tesla superchargers have the same dc connectors as other rapid chargers.Apparently there's a few different types of connectors, and need a box of adapters.
At the minute only tesla can super charge on one of their super chargers, but they're starting to trial it for non tesla cars

There’s a large number of households now have two cars and this would fill the 2nd car slot perfectly as it would only be used for short commutes and shopping trips with the main family car being used for long hauls.
How often is anyone actually doing more than 200 miles a day? For the odd time you are you should really be taking breaks at least once every three hours and there’s not many places you can drive more than 200 miles in three hours.

you have to have a Tesla for the charge to activate though.
Tesla charging network is amazing, it’s a shame about the rest of the public charging network especially locally to me which is shit.
