It's the combination of flavours. I had a simple bacon samwidge the other day, just white bread, lil bit of butter, bacon, chop sauce. Perfecto.

I think this thread has seen it’s fair share of abusive replies when people start getting a bit daft

Not reading the whole thread but there was a woman in Silksworth who was once overheard by me and my mates in the early 90's saying "All I can afford to feed my kids these days is egg and chips".

Every time we saw her we used to shout 'egg and chips!' and she'd go radio rental and chase us all over the estate.

Many years later as an adult I saw her in Gillespies, I couldnt help myself, I shouted 'egg and chips'. So she smashed a bottle off the railing and chased me round the place and out the door threatening to slice me up. Absolutely frothing she was.

Just wanted to share.
