Eddie Howe

As someone else said, the comments at this time of the season are unnecessary. I don't mind Howe, other than his career choices. And his tolerance of Tindell. I suspect he'll be reviewing offers in the summer from other clubs

It was better when Queen Mandy was involved - Guimaraes, Tonali, Hall, Livramento etc. now Howe has full-reign, it’s dreadful.
I don't think she was chief scout mind 😂

But the lying cow would take credit for absolutely anything to keep herself on their gravy train.

If you spend big money in this day and age of very visible football from all around the world online you tend to get what you pay for. That's all the mags previously got. Gummibear was probably worth a bit more than £40M, Botman a bit less but ballpark.

This season the wheels have fallen off. They have overpaid for every signing and some of them have happily badly underperformed too. A perfect shit storm. Beheaddie is to blame, he's the one who got the director of football bombed out and put his nephew in charge.

Howe’s boss is admitting the derby loss is hard to swallow.

“Howe and his players were booed off by a section of supporters at St James' Park following the damaging Tyne-Wear derby loss, which has left 12th in the Premier League.”
“I don't have a stance on his future," he said. "What I can tell you is that the derby loss hurt.
We take it seriously. There's nothing within us that thinks, 'Well, it's just three points and on we go'. It has resonated.”
Tbf to Howe if you watch the likes of Joelinton amble back without busting a gut for our second -their players néed to take a big responsibility -some with hands on hips as we marched towards their goal
Mind there was only one team going to win it second half ànd he was once again tactically done by Reggie and the boys

Howe bring Joelington as a CM from a striker. Himself is a striker and doesnt scored goals that what they got him for £40m!
Wothermade and Wissa combined more than £100m that doesnt scored much.
Isak. Bruno has saved them for a long time.

Their recruitment is a big problem. Thank god their recruitment team isnt ours.
£124M in total if I recall, eye watering amount considering what we got in terms of value for the players we brought in of equal value!

I still think he's a decent manager , but the recruitment has been absolute dogshit, whoever was responsible for that needs the boot first
The mags thin k they have some divine right to be at the top and that is half the problem
Whoever is responsible? 😂

It's very obvious Beheaddie got rid of Paul Mitchell, the director of football who he didn't get on with because he tried to reign his power in. He had about a dozen years experience with about 5 decent sized clubs including Spurs. He was no mug.

Howe obviously gave them the old it's either me or him speech and as Beheaddie has just qualified for the Champions League the club had no choice but ditch Mitchell.

The problem was they had nobody with any experience lined up. They went into the season with Beheaddie in overall in charge of recruitment with his nephew and other minor yes men doing the leg work. Absolute car crash and all at Howe's door.

'Mutual consent' which probably means a big pay off and a gagging clause.

That shall reap what they sow, fk all!!!

I'm sick of hearing about their "PSR issues".

Eddie Howe has had a net spend of over £400m+ since he joined Newcastle.

Let's just call it what it really is: shite recruitment.

It's a load of bollocks.

Their starting XI and subs bench cost £600m+ (at a quick glance) when we carried on the tradition of embarassing them a few weeks back.

Ours was about a fifth of that - probably less. Our back line and goalkeeper cost less than a player that they signed this summer and was benched ffs.

They spent about £140M net during the last summer. About a £100M the first Saudi transfer window. £65M on Isak, £50M on both Tonali and Gordon. That's about £400M.

They've brought in about £200M but most of that is Isak but they spent all the cash they got on Wissa and the German plank 😂

It's nearer £500M net which is the 5th most in the entire league. To finish er 5th last season, exactly the spot they've paid for.
