Eddie Howe

Howe’s boss is admitting the derby loss is hard to swallow.

“Howe and his players were booed off by a section of supporters at St James' Park following the damaging Tyne-Wear derby loss, which has left 12th in the Premier League.”
“I don't have a stance on his future," he said. "What I can tell you is that the derby loss hurt.
We take it seriously. There's nothing within us that thinks, 'Well, it's just three points and on we go'. It has resonated.”
Or rather - we need to suck up to the fans so we will pretend to be uber Geordies and bleed black and white and the sack the only person we can.

There is that ok jordeez?

He reminds me of Tony the Tiger just walking around saying everything’s Great!

Must be killing him have to deal with negativity

Mags lose 7 (seven) -2 to Barcelona. They celebrate about being in Yoorup.

Mags lose 2-1 to Sunderland. Booed off, social media meltdown, want manager sacked.

Mags arent bothered about Sunderland though.

Spelled losses wrong

Absolutely no need for these comments from Beheadie’s boss especially at this stage of the season with nothing left to play for

Seems a clear veiled threat - win most of the remaining seven matches or it’s “on yer camel, Beheadie”

With Toonali and Ratboy off at the end of the season, together with the disaster that is their goalkeeper situation, very much looking forward to next year’s six points 😂

Cannot see Beheadie still being in the dug out

What on earth is another manager gonen be able to do better with that team?! They've signed poor players and expect the manager to do as well as previous seasons. Nuts

That chief exec and that recruitment team will see the scum drop off further. Absolutely clueless them lot

My view is that things were going quite well for them, as best they could do with the PSR issues and they just had a disaster summer.

They had no DoF to oversee things, they held onto Isak far too long, blew the money on players that didnt fit the established gameplan and have had one bad season because of it.

There probably isnt a great need for panic stations but it sounds like they are at panic stations and will throw everything out and start again.

Their last dodgy dealing went great for them selling Anderson and Minteh! 🤣
It did what it was supposed to.
Minteh is nothing special. Typical winger. Great on a good day (2 in 10).
Anderson was all about potential and he wasn’t going to get games to show it at Newcastle.
Also, at the time, plenty on here were outraged at the fee given how shite he is.
I (and I am certain the club will breathe a sigh of relief reading this) see that bit of business as decent under the circumstances.

Pretty much my thoughts. Shows how, with exception to a select group of teams, getting a transfer window wrong just once can derail things completely.

I think they know they’re facing an exodus of “talent”. Bruno, Tina, Hall, Tonali will all be off at the end of the season. Howe will be the fall guy.

The level they should/will be looking at is Irarola/Glasner/Silva. If one of them is brought in early & has a decent window, they could challenge for Europe again.

Talk of Alonso/Conte is pie in the sky - with no Europe, little PSR wiggle room and all the better players unsettled, there's nothing about the job to appeal to that level of manager.

Jose would be the funniest outcome of all.

I still think he's a decent manager
He has one tactic - press like fuck from the off and see how long you can keep doing it. When the players tire he has no alternative to plan A so simply rotates the same players at the same times and re-boots plan A. Which is why the Mags have dropped more points from winning positions this season than any other PL club. He's far from a decent manager.
