Early leavers and final whistle on Sunday

I don’t understand why people can’t just add an extra 20 or 30 minutes on to the length of time the match takes. Fair enough if there’s something important you’ve got to get away for but the vast majority are out for the day at the match.
Yesterday took us 15 minutes to get out from near the back of the concourse, stopped for a greasy burger by the cafe and by the time we got served the streets were virtually clear. I could never get my head round the mentality that you have to ‘beat’ everyone and be first to get away.
I was thinking the same

Surely you’re out for the day, matchday!

Don’t matter if you get home at 5.30 or 6pm the house will still be the same as it was left

The traffic is what it is, imagine if we extend. The early mass exodus is going to be insane

Here we go, yet again, it must have been like a day since we had a thread on this subject . . .
Anybody who left before the end and without showing their appreciation to the players yesterday is a disgrace to the badge and not a real supporter.

You'll get a few with this
Should put them on the big screen so we can boo them .
You should have to tap out to leave early , three early leaves and you get a ban .

I was one of the last to leave the stadium yesterday, I have left through choice 1 game early this season, the rest have been bang on full time whistle, I dont need to clap filly grown men off the pitch for doing "Their job". Plenty did leave early yesterday as I sit on the end of an aisle.
And guess what, I happily get up to let them out as it is called choice.

"Boo them" are you for real, I'd love that though as when I have left early through choice id flick at salut at you and your big screen! Ha

I left around 35 mins yesterday for a pint and was back in my seat around 50mins, so probably me your on about.....
And, it has absolutely nothing at all to do with you. So dont worry about it daft lad
Presumably you have an end of aisle seat and you crouched down in a considerate manner for other spectators.

I can understand people leaving five minutes early if it allows them to beat traffic to the extent is saves them an hour getting home better than I can those missing the first five minutes of the second half because they need a pint of beer
Yes, I understand that.
I hope every one stays until well after the final whistle at the seasons end and gives a well earned round of applause as Sunderland walk around the perimeter of the pitch. On Saturday, despite a really good first half, there was a constant moving back and forward from about 30 minutes to the bars. When the second half started there were thousands, yes thousands, of empty seats within the stadium.

Try sitting at the end of a row, try watching the game, when your vision of the pitch is made a blur, thanks to people like you.

I do yes. No, why would I when they can just walk past in front of me, the reason for getting out of my seat is not down to my doing, so I will move for other people as I see fit,

My god, these sort of posts are most weeks and are pathetic

I do sit at the end of row!! I do have numerous people passing me at all times of the game.

I dont care, as it is their choice!

"People like me" 😂 😂 😂 Absolutely howling at you.... Ha. I am on the end of an aisle, so I have to move no-one at all.... Ha

Right back at you!!!

Here fishy fishy 🎣

It’s also Xhaka , Sadiki and Ballard’s choice to look up at the stands and think “ I’m putting a shift in here and these fuckers can’t even wait until the final whistle . “
