Striker
Saturday 18th June.

Yet more ridiculous scheduling from the ECB sees us face Yorkshire at 11am on Saturday after only returned from Leicester at around midnight the night before......

Any predictions of starting eleven?

DiVa
Stoneman
Muchall
Collingwood
Benkenstein
Blackwell
Mustard
Borthwick
Plunkett
Onions
Harmison

The above being my guess but Claydon/Thorp could be thereabouts. Anyone know whether David Miller will be involved too? Would be good to use him but I don't honestly know where he would fit in?!!

Stupidest bit of scheduling in years, Yakshite play Lancs in the T20 the night before as well.

Thanks to the ECB, we might not win this one by an innings.

We simply have to rest players on Friday

No option for me

Our reserves are relatively strong, but we might have to sacrifice Friday

Please no, we're doing well in the 20/20. I know the quick turnaround is crap but it's the same for both teams and our seamers will only have to bowl overs in it man.

Bowling 4 overs is hardly the issue, it's arriving back in the middle of the night cramping up on a f***ing bus

Would you really rather win 20/20 than the proper title where we have far more chance anyway?

Besides which we have strengh in depth to cope, which most counties don't

We wont play DiVenuto, Stoneman, Thorpe, Borthwick, Brathwaite and Harmison anyway. I wouldn't be too gutted if Onions was rested. There's seven. If a batsman gets injured theres always Smith or Coetzer to come in and Richardson for the Colonel.

Its only Blackwell, Benkenstein and Muchall we need to worry about really.

Miller is only available for 20/20!

If i were Cook i would rest Onions and Blackwell on Friday night!

My line up would be -

Diva
Smith
Muchall
Benkenstein
Collingwood
Blackwell
Mustard
Borthwick
Thorp
Harmison
Onions

Suppose it depends on the wicket but I'd consider swapping Borthwick for Plunkett.

Thorp and Steve Harmison will be well rested for this

Stoneman and MDV will be fresh as well

Plunkett hasnt played much either of late due to injury so should be relatively fresh

Borthwick will be well rested as well

Looks like it could be a washout for a couple of days.

Edit, the sky looks like it is clearing a bit from the west, but i am not going to chance going down today.
