Durham V Sussex - LVCC

Defeat by 2 wickets in the end, despite 5-58 from Braithwaite.

Also seems to be a mistake picking Borthwick as well. Batted eight and only bowled 12 overs all game, going 1-58. Surely with Blackwell as the main spinner it should mean we can play the extra seamer or even play the more experienced Breese.

Disappointing result against a team that will no doubt prop the table up come September. Durham left themselves with way too much to do. Six wickets was always a massive ask.

Still onwards and upwards.

Heard Breese dropped Wells at 2nd slip about the 3rd over in. Might have all been different if it stuck :-(

First over. I arrived about 11.15am with the bairns and he had been dropped. Difficult chance though apparently. I left with 20 runs needed and 3 more wickets went down.

But let's be consistent with your persona on the PF.

It has to be has to be somebody's fault, surely ?

That Cook fella, lad....

There is a continuing inconsistency with DCCC that has spilled over into the Warwickshire game.
