Devastating, but still plenty of batting to come. If we can survive the new ball spell in the morning there’s no reason why we can’t eke out some sort of a lead just after lunch. What’s more, if there’s a bit of weather around it may just play into our hands a little if we can indeed achieve first innings parity (at worst).

I thought Durham batted well against a good attack and are on a reasonable score. However, the new ball is still new and that will be key. I think advantage Sussex still, and they look the better team so far.
Clark has been stuck on 46 for quite a while, and once that happens to a player it's often a precursor to getting out, however he's still there and tomorrow is a different day.

If a wicket falls in what is the final designated over of the day, then that terminates play for the day.

I think we are doing ok here. Sussex bowled well. Delighted to see Clarky delivering again. Could be an interesting day tomorrow. Bizarre the weather today mind but hopefully it continues to remain dry.
