Well I reckon Durham batsmen just thought they would continue on from last match and put on at least 350 today by the close of play. Been pretty slack from ball one when Lees wafted at ball one.
 
Minto is good batter. I'm already wondering when he'll get his first 1st class century. I think Stokes got his first when he was a few weeks shy of 19, I reckon Minto could get his within the same envelope of time, slightly more maybe.
 
Minto looks canny with bat and ball.

Elsewhere, keep an eye on George Hill at Yorkshire. Another 5-fer today. If/when Stokes’ hamstring goes, he’s surely in the England conversation.

I saw some people arrive and they were talking to the ambulance ladies. Maybe family? Looked across a couple of minutes later and the area was clear. There's an awful lot of concrete, hard plastic and metal to break your fall sadly.
 
Although a lot of our batsmen did not kick on my observation is that a lot of runs came from edges and mistimings. Maybe this is not an easy wicket to bat on. However both teams have to bat on this track and we will see what happens.
