Durham v Notts T20 £1 match roll call

3 of us are going, never been before, any particular stand I should be heading for?

Also planning to park somewhere near the ground, any recommendations??
Go early if you are parking close to the ground

If you want a bit of sun go into the two tiered stand , bit of shade the don robson stand where the players rooms are

The big bank of blue seat are the trapdoor stand where old fogeys like @The Red Telephone go

In front of the gym is not a bad spot if you fancy catching a six
.

One bit of advice depending where you are travelling from is to use the back road through burnmoor then turn right just after the pub floaters mill

It will take you down past the golf course and lumley castle , turn left and the ground is there

Going the main route off the A1 and towards CLS can be a bit busy

Headed down on Friday, gave up the season cards for this year so it'll be the only one I get to unless there's an interesting QF draw.

Chance you should be OK coming into CLS on the A167 from the south, at that time. Depending on just how close you want to be to the ground, how far you want to walk, whether you want to pay or park for free etc...Plenty of people leave their car on Durham Road just off the A167 heading towards CLS town center and walk down to the ground. Its clear of double yellows and just outside of the "residents only" areas which require permits to park.

Ours have got a cricket game in fact I think it's a little round robin tournament and 5 of the 6 have got T20 season tickets. Should hopefully make it before the end of the first innings
