It was reported on the national weather that in a lot of the UK its been the driest March since 1961 - not that I can remember that !I reckon Durham must have got some bonus quality outdoors practice and netting in the past 10 days. The weather reminds me of that spring of the first lock down.
It's been a dry winter too, there has been no standing water in my local park at all, which is unusual. It was reported on the national weather that in a lot of the UK its been the driest March since 1961 - not that I can remember that !
Long may it continue.
Well there’s no rain forecast but it’s not as warm as I’d hoped given that it’s set to touch 18 degrees down here in midweek.
Me and a mate are heading along to Trent Bridge on Saturday to watch. Can’t wait.
Pretty much my view as well. Not convinced we are strong enough bowling wise but we shall see. Wishing the lads all the very bestI can not WAIT!!
I am worried about our bowling a bit myself....batting looks strong though...and we need a lot lot more from Parky in these early months

David Bedingham is not available for the opening round as he remains with Western Province who are currently playing in the CSA Four Day Championship against North West Dragons, but is expected to arrive for next week’s match against Warwickshire. Brendan Doggett will land in the North East next week ahead of our opening fixture at home next week.
Daniel Hogg and Sam Conners aren’t available for selection as they work on their recovery following recent injuries sustained.
