Because our opening pair was Bell and Cook and them him at 3 you had very similar players in terms of SR. When the rest of the world was playing more like we do now.

SR of 56-70 isn't what was needed. If he had Roy/Hales in front of him then maybe he might have done better as the anchor role.

But all worked out for the best as he doesn't get in ahead any of the options we have.
