Couldnt agree more. Highlighted also by their innings, two lads on 70 and 60 get out stupidly when they didn’t need to take risks and they fall apart from a comfortable position. No not singling him out but one of the batsmen who got a start had to go on and bat through those vital middle overs which they didn't do. Clark and Lees did it in the first match and the score was huge. I know he can't do it every game but if they want to make those big scores and bat the other team out of the match normally at least one had to go on and get that score.
As far as Bancroft goes he is just out of form or is not the player he was 2 summers ago.
What really annoys me is the amount of getting caught in the deep, pointless slogs basically. Especially in 50 over cricket, between overs 10 and 40 orso, you only need to go at 5-6 an over to get to a very competitive score (if you have a good start and end) and that should be achievable without having to slog
