That makes sense, no need to send out a new card, as long as the technology is clever enough to know whether you have renewed.

Of course, if it doesn’t scan the steward will just wave you in anyway 😉

When I renewed (I had a physical card last year) I think there was an option as to how you wanted the renewed membership - I remember clicking on add to physical card. So it can definitely be done. If you haven't had an email I assume that is also what is happening with yours.
 
I think the lack of posting and lack of excitement. Tells you a lot about how the feeling from Durham fans is, with how last season ended and the lack of anything from the club all winter.

That being said our batting unit is absolutely solid for Division 2 and I would hope we can compete to win the title as most of them underperformed last season.

Our bowling will be very much reliant on keeping the guys in todays squad fit all season.

Hoping Potts especially can re-find form after a very tough 2025 and winter with his Ashes debut being a horror showing.

I think it’s the general picture for the county game unfortunately, there’s a lot of apathy from those at the top and in the media that filters down.

Personally I’m well up for it, I might even be willing to say it’s the most excited I’ve been for an opening day, but there’s clearly a lot of recency bias at play there.

Anyway, ten minutes til the toss!

Interesting they've pushed Robinson down to 7. Why we kept playing him at 5 last season when he was struggling still baffles me now.
