Cover everything up with what. Aren’t the covers in the trapdoor standThere was a report on the flooding issue a month or so ago. We shouldn't have to monitor the planning portal. There is a summary on page 39 of the top document. Maybe someone could interpret it?

Even if they issued a tweet saying 'we really don't know at this point whether play will be possible tomorrow', it would be something.
I'd love to know whether anyone is actively doing anything tonight or have they just covered everything up until tomorrow.
It's crazy, absolutely no reason for a delay but I suspect that message means one‘Regular pre-match inspection’
It isn’t raining, nor has it rained in 28 hours, there isn’t a cloud in the sky. Get on with it FFS.
Play to start at 11 confirmed
Not on the 4th day.Excellent. I wonder if any overs are added on. Can't remember how it works in the CC
There's flexibility in that an extra 8 overs can be added at the end of the day if overs have been lost the previous day but it doesn't apply on the final day, presumably in consideration of the away team's homeward journey. However, you have a point, could start earlier on the final day to compensate for lost overs. But,unfortunately cricket doesn't do common sense.Having lost so much time - why can't they just start at 10.30 & make up 10 overs or so?
The light & conditions are hardly any different then than at 11.00
County cricket & it's umpires really seems to lack any flexibility / common sense
Should already be playing‘Regular pre-match inspection’

The 11:00 start being sacred until September will never make sense
