Not going today as I'm at the football. However to have no update is quite frankly disgraceful. Appreciate someone may jump on this comment saying "the club have to wait for the umpires to arrive" which I appreciate, however a brief update on what's been happening since close of play/hopes for an 11am start time isn't that difficult to do.

They should have inspected at 9am at the latest. No regard for anyone travelling any sort of distance. It's not a 'regular' situation. These two umpires are genuinely the worst I've ever seen in terms of game management. Shamateurs.

Having lost so much time - why can't they just start at 10.30 & make up 10 overs or so?

There's flexibility in that an extra 8 overs can be added at the end of the day if overs have been lost the previous day but it doesn't apply on the final day,presumably in consideration of the away team's homeward journey. However,you have a point,could start earlier on the final day to compensate for lost overs. But,unfortunately cricket doesn't do common sense.
