Maddinson will come good. He averaged 50+ in last season's Sheffield Shield. Far better player than his current Durham stats show.

I hope he does. We haven’t had a great deal of fortune with our overseas players this season - Ravindra and a couple of reasonable performances from AJ Tye apart.

Yes, I think that is due to the fact that we're shopping in the bottom end of the market. We were fortunate with both Tye,who happened to be in the area at the time, and Ravindra who was marketing himself for a club professional job in the area.
