Durham v Derbyshire 11th-14th July

In the abscence of information regarding injuries and contracts (surprise, surprise) I believe we may have seen the last of Eckersley and Salisbury.
Disappointed for Matt Salisbury, I like him as a bowler and his figures are good. If he cannot get into the squad ahead of Gibson and McAlindon, where does he go from here ?

I’m not sure they are really….? Could be wrong like but going off the ‘eye test’ he hasn’t done a great deal for us during his stay. Incredibly likeable lad though and has a good character from what I’ve seen but unfortunately that isn’t enough to warrant a new deal.

I bet the bowlers are chuffed with Borthwick for sticking them in on the hottest day of the year and the previous pitches we've produced on that side of the ground

We are bowling and I think Borthwick has put them in. Mmmm surprising!

Perhaps he’s banking on Day 1 being the best day for bowling, most of the flat decks we’ve seen this year at CLS have tended to be that way.

Hopefully Vic has somehow managed to get a load of moisture into the pitch!

The Magistrate and his supporters all exiled in the Trapdoor.for this match.

A collective gasp from the gathered hundreds when it's announced that Derbyshire have been put in.

Salisbury playing. Interesting given he wasn't in the original squad. Good to see Macalindon let go of the drinks trolley and given an opportunity. Heard a dodgy rumour this morning one of our players has signed for Derbyshire.... Again dodgy rumour
. Shouter in fine voice. We have a new green seat stand. Sun is shining.

Potts and Trevaskis were in the 1st team pre Franklin. Colly recognised Potts as England potential then. Franklin's been here 3 years and no one has progressed to senior cricket.
We'll beg to differ. You obviously believe our lead high performance coach is fulfilling his obligations. I think he's a charlatan. We'll leave it there. No problem.

Fairly sure I'm right in saying Potts debut was at Kent while I lived there so you're talking 6-7 years back
