thats bailey, who has only a half decent record in all forms of cricket, theyve got a few wrong uns in this 'a' team, like klinger

cowan just doesnt look like he'll score big runs, warner will fail 7/8 times out of 10 and ponting is past his best, great depth in pace attack, but top order bats and spinner they are really lacking in, roll on the ashes, we might get more than 2 wickets an innings!

sounds familiar that like, except we've got scotty 8-)

although having said that a huge part of our success was hwith two front line spinners, and having wicket takers who can add big runs to our totals. now we dont even have batsmen who can add medium runs to our total.....

from 111-7 to 151-7 to 155-9

jsut when i ws gonna say it was turning ugly i thought id wait a minute but thanks to brathwaite & blackwell pickung up two quick ones, hope to get them all out soon and we can have another stab with the bat

all out 159.

brathwaite ends with 3-32, wood the pick with 4-36
 
Another shite start with the bat. The likes of Stoneman, Smith and Muchall are very fortunate that we've lost Coetzer, DiVa and dare I say it Ben Harmison.

i think he's only averaging about 15-20 for kent, thats a guess based on everyscorecard of his ive seen being piss poor.

so... rocky goes for 0

edit: slightly better than i though - av. 24 from 13 innings. although he's just got out for 5 in the latest match

Fab Down here today. Rarely get the chance to get to a 3/4 day game. Few members near me unimpressed with lack of publicity for free entry.

They must have missed all the signs around the box office/reception/club shop at the last home game and are obviously too deaf to hear the tannoy announcements which have been broadcasted a lot lately.

Yep. I'd be swapping either of them for Muchall if I was Cook

Maybe Blackwell in for Borthwick also to tighten up on the batting.

Borthwick is batting very well at the moment, not a chance he'll be dropped.
 
Nothing I've seen in the two Durham innings suggests either Myburg or Blackwell should play in the championship. Blackwell got runs in the second innings but he could easily have been out without scoring again, he needs more work on his fitness and mobility before being considered for a recall.

It's likely Mustard will play against Scotland, and if he comes through that ok he will play in the LVCC. For me, Richardson should play and bat at 8 with Scott Borthwick being promoted to 3, Scotty has been one of our better batters recently and deserves a chance higher up the order. Muchall is a nice lad, but unfortunately being nice doesn't help put runs on the board so should be dropped for now.

He may be a nice lad, I don't know, but he's certainly not a professional batsman in anything other than name.
