are these two fit to play?

Yeah both played for 2nds last week, think these two, Brathwaite, Claydon and Blackwell will make up the bowling attack. Batting line up will be interesting to see but imagine Jennings and possibly Singh will play and probably Smith and Muchall to try and find some form.

good good.

what has happened to ben raine?

Cook said at the members Q&A that he expects Myburgh, Jennings and Blackwell to play

Expecting something like this;

1) Stoneman
2) Muchall
3) Myburgh
4) Jennings
5) Blackwell
6) Richardson
7) Borthwhick
8) Plunkett
9) Harrison
10) Claydon
11) Brathwaite

They'll probably play and hope Muchall gets some runs.....

Amazed that Muchall is! This to me just means he's definitely still in the clubs plans - which he should be nowhere near!

Or last chance saloon, get some runs when the result doesn't matter, boost his confidence and take it into the next game. Or a straight shoot out vs Jennings?

He should be nowhere near the team for the Surrey game. Batting average is less than 10 now.

104 runs from 11 innings = average 9.45

He's already had about 9 chances too many. So much for Geoff Cook saying you have to earn your place...... An average of below 10 must be acceptable for a number three

Rocky (C)
Jennings
Myburgh
Muchall
Stokes
Blackwell
Richardson
Borthwick
Wood
Claydon
Brathwiate

at a guess but that middle order could be upside down for all i know, stokes at 3, muchall & myburgh anywhere from opening down to 6. you never know with borthwick too. plus not sure how much of an all rounder they see wood as.

in short - i have no clue

i think you misinterpret [sp?] what cook ment.

you have to earn your spot sure, its just that when you do you dont have to prove your worth keeping it. muchall's form at the start of last season was great
