This is what Bostock basically said at the pre season meeting - if we get a test, it will be against a smaller nation and at the wrong end of the season. That’s why we didn’t want one. I have a lot of time for George Dobell, but I suspect he’s wrong about Durham being in the running for this.

No chance im going at that price. Especially if it’s v Ireland. Not even worth it for an ashes test imo.

Ashes 2013 didn’t sell out (admittedly only just) at £50 which unfortunately is a sign of the demand up here for the one decent test we ever got.

No because we mainly got unpopular nations in April or May.

But don't believe we sold out the ashes either. I wish I'd gone mind, been far too long since I went to a test.
