Sod’s Law that I plan my work today to be in and around Stanley and consett to do a couple of hours at the game and it’s pissing down
Popped up, some lads doing warm up laps of the field , covers still on, umpires having a look but lads trying to mop up water off the covers, but it’s still spitting

Nvplay scorecard has play due to resume at 3.50. I’m 5 minutes from the ground. Raining and the light is poor. I’d be surprised if they get back on today 🙁

I sat there for about 2 hours doing some “work” couple of times they could have been back on I thought, Sod’s Law they were taking the covers off as I had to leave
