The bairn told me this earlier. Disappointed. Its probably my last week before I start a new contract so was looking forward to it.

Not kept up with transfer gossip over the winter, but Onions to Lancs? Between injuries and rain he'll hardly play.
 
Apart from being made out of grass, there is no comparison whatsoever with our ground at Spenny but... when we went there yesterday to have a pre-season clean-up, the outfield was like a swamp. Clubs around the north-east will do well to get any friendly games on next Saturday. The weather has made ground preparation impossible during the last month.

Aye our outfield is the same at Washy will be stuggling for the first game if it doesnt stop raining.
